MacDonald Headed East
It has been announced that horseman Anthony MacDonald will be headed out east in a few weeks’ time.
MacDonald will be the guest speaker at Cape Breton’s annual horse owners association awards banquet at the Emera center on Saturday, April 29.
It's been a long year for MacDonald, the husband and father of two that trains 61 horses with his wife, Amy, and has spoken all over North America about the specific brand of fractional ownership that the thestable.ca has brought to horse racing.
"Speaking at Michigan State University was pretty cool, and of course addressing the USTA in Las Vegas was important to me, but going home, well actually past home will be a welcome diversion from what has become a crazy year," said MacDonald.
The award-winning fractional ownership group that Anthony and Amy have created has tripled in size in one year. With more than 241 owners spread over three continents and six countries, thestable.ca is easily one of the fastest growing ventures in North American horse racing.
"Although this night is about the owners and horsemen of Cape Breton, it will be nice to finally meet some of our maritime clients and speak about the benefits of fractional ownership.
“People may see their own jurisdictions as fragmented and investment hard to find within it, but this program has no boundaries and it doesn't matter where you live, you can use the internet to build something great.
“We don't speak in hypotheticals, we speak in tangibles, because we already built it," said MacDonald.
