Stallion Series Underway
Two-year-old pacing fillies were in the spotlight Monday, July 13 at Chester Racetrack, which hosted seven $20,000 divisions of the Pennsylvania Stallion Series as a lead-in to sire stakes action Wednesday, July 15.
Caviart Kiss, by The Panderosa, led a stakes double for driver Tim Tetrick, as she brushed to the front and scored by two lengths in 1:56.3.
Tetrick was also victorious aboard McArdle filly McUltra. The duo won in 1:58.2 off a measured mid-stretch move.
Like Caviart Kiss, Shesa Bragn Dragon, a Dragon Again daughter, was victorious in 1:56.3. The filly had been tipped three-wide off the far turn before rallying to win by three parts of a length. Pilot Brandon Simpson recorded the win in what was his local driving debut.
Four Starzzz Shark daughters Long Island Icetea and Four Starz Skate won their respective divisions, as did A and Gs Princess. Blue Moon Artist was the lone betting favourite to win her division.
