Shorelines Launches Belleville Racebook
In an effort to provide an additional entertainment amenity for its guests and to further support the Ontario horse racing industry, Shorelines Casino Belleville has launched a new betting option – Racebook.
The 18-seat Racebook at Shorelines Casino Belleville offers an opportunity to wager on races from Ontario as well as other North American tracks.
“With the introduction of Racebook, we are providing our guests another entertainment option while also generating new revenue for the provincial racing industry,” said Ron Urquhart, general manager at Shorelines Casino Belleville.
Racebook will be open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. until 4 a.m. and Friday morning at 8 a.m. until Monday morning at 4 a.m. Hours of operation may be impacted by live race feeds from other jurisdictions.
“Congratulations to Great Canadian Gaming Corporation for opening a simulcast area at Shorelines Casino Belleville. It is a sure bet that will boost interest for horse racing in the region,” said Bill O’Donnell, president of Central Ontario Standardbred Association.

I wish they had this at KD
I wish they had this at KD ..I would go more often on non-race nights.
There is already an off track
There is already an off track facility in Belleville I believe operated by Rideau Carleton. Will this replace this I wonder. Also even though it may provide more exposure I wonder who gets the benefits. Will this be a loss for Rideau??
