Georgian Downs has cancelled its planned Saturday morning qualifying session

.

“We’re forecasted to receive rain overnight and possible thunderstorms early tomorrow morning,” said Chris Roberts, Director of Operations. “With the Gold Rush card tomorrow night, we want to be sure that the track is in optimal shape.”

In addition to the cancellation of qualifiers, the track will be closed for training purposes.

Post time for Saturday evening’s Gold Rush program is 7:25 p.m.
