Walker & Doucet Dominate At Inverness

It turned out to be a very productive Sunday afternoon at the office at Inverness Raceway for the tandem of trainer Walter Walker and driver Redmond Doucet

.

Walker watched three of his students find their way to victory lane, and all of them were driven to victory by Doucet. He went on to post another pair of catch-driving scores to bring his daily win total to five on the 10-race program.

Walker’s winners were Too Too Breeze (2:02.3), Ride The Lightning (1:58.4) and Master Of Ceremony (2:00.2). Doucet delivered those pacers to victory lane, and he added wins with Hawthorne Maria (2:04) for owner/trainer Donald Gillis and Dougs Girl for owner/trainer Iain MacDonald.

The three-win performance for Walker improved his 2009 record to 12-3-0 from just 23 starters. That translates into a wicked UTR of .594. Doucet saw his 2009 boxscore climb to 20-9-6 from just 61 opportunities, and that boils down to a UDR of .442.
