Pierre Paul Binet Passes
Trot Insider has learned that breeder/owner/trainer Pierre Paul Binet of Charlesbourg, Quebec passed away on January 27 at the age of 70.
Pierre Paul, who passed away at À l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus in Québec, is the father of trainer Isabelle Binet.
Born in Quebec City on March 28, 1946, Pierre-Paul was the son of the late Marguerite Forgues and the late Charles-Edouard Binet.
Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the church of St-Pascal de Maizerets, 1895, Chemin de la Canardière, Quebec G1J 2 E5 where family members will receive condolences starting at 12:30 p.m.
In addition to his wife Carole Lamontagne, Pierre Paul is survived by his children: Claudine Binet (Alfred Beaudin), Pierre Paul Binet Jr. (Markus Herrmann), Isabelle Binet (Pascal Bérubé); His beloved grandson Olivier Binet Bérubé (Aryane DuSablon); His brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Claire (late William Daigle), Jean-Marc (France Chamberland), Renald (Christiane Paquet), Fernande, Richard; The Lamontagne family: Jacqueline (late Victor Hamel), the late Robert Lamontagne (late Yvette Nadeau), Pierrette (Paul-Émile Lambert), Céline (André Bélanger), Jocelyne (Gaétan Drolet) Lefebvre); His two great friends Michel Picard and Madeleine Néron as well as his nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
