Graeme Mitchell has spent almost his entire life involved in one facet or another of Standardbred racing. From handicapper, to journalist, to racing analyst, to radio and television on-air host, to horse owner, he’s made a life out of it. Graeme has tasted much success along the way as well - except maybe in the ‘horse owner’ part. That is until now at least. A part-owner of the ultra-talented McWicked colt, T H McMurry, Mitchell has finally found his horse-of-a-lifetime. Sadly, Graeme’s lifetime is very close to the end. By Keith McCalmont.
