Wagering will begin Sunday, September 16 for the Little Brown Jug Future Pool No. 2 and the Jugette-Little Brown Jug Daily Double.
The minimum wager for both the Future Bet No. 2 and the Jugette-Jug Daily Double is $1.
Advanced wagers for the Little Brown Jug Future Pool No. 2 can be made at racetracks and internet sites throughout North America and Europe and also at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. The pool opens at 12:00-noon on Sunday, September 16 and will close at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19.
Wagering on the Jugette-Little Brown Jug Daily Double will begin at 12:00-noon, Sunday, September 16 and will close on Wednesday, September 19 at post time of the first elimination heat of the Jugette.
“The advanced-wagering opportunities help build excitement for the Jugette and Little Brown Jug,” said Phil Terry, general manager of the Delaware County Fair. Advanced wagers can be made at any mutuel window. The horses entered in the Jugette and Little Brown Jug will be listed in alphabetical order and program pages will be provided.
The draw for post positions for the 42nd Jugette will be held the morning of Friday, September 14, and post positions for the 67th Little Brown Jug will be Saturday, September 15, both at the log cabin on the backstretch of the Delaware Fairgrounds.
