If you’re headed to Grand River Raceway for the Grassroots Championships on Saturday, September 29, make sure to visit the I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club booth!
The team will be on site to sign new members up, sell swag and offer some great prize draws. Everyone is welcome to enter a draw to win one of two $50 win bets and a Swag bag filled with I Love Canadian Harness Racing souvenirs.
We’ll also be signing people up for Backstage Pass; an escorted one-hour guided tour, Behind The Scenes, and is available to a limited number of Fan Club members. The tour features a trip to the TV room, judge’s stand, announcer’s booth and paddock.
Grassroots Championships Fan Club Online Handicapping Contest
To celebrate the 2012 Grassroots Championships at Grand River Raceway on Saturday, September 29, the Fan Club will offer an Online Handicapping Contest featuring an assortment of questions based on the Grassroots card of racing. Each question will be worth a predetermined number of points. The contestant who earns the highest number of points will be declared the winner.
The contest will open for entries on Wednesday, September 26. The contest winner will receive an I Love Canadian Harness Racing Prize Pack, which includes a $50 gift certificate to the Canadian racetrack of their choice & a great Fan Club tote filled with Fan Club merchandise!
