Info. For New Membership With COSA

Published: September 16, 2009 08:04 pm EDT

Bill O'Donnell, President of the Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA), would like to advise all horsepeople that wish to become members of the newly-formed association, they may do so now by filling out membership

applications. COSA representatives will be on hand at Mohawk Racetrack on Thursday and Friday morning this week from 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. On Thursday, COSA reps will be in the backstretch area and then on Friday in the paddock during the qualifying races.

COSA membership is free. The COSA benefit package has been structured to provide a ‘seamless’ transition. If you are a current COSA member and currently covered under an Insurance plan of another organization, there will be no interruption of benefits. Members obtaining benefits for the first time, through COSA, will incur a one-month wait for dental benefits.

COSA will subsidize 100 percent of premiums for the Benefit Program for eligible grooms.

COSA would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Stacey Newman (Corporate Account Manager) and Cathy Arsenault (Executive Assistant). Both ladies join the team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry.

For more information on COSA membership and its benefits package, please call the office at 905-854-2672 or stop by the office at 36 Main Street (Scotia Bank building) in Campbellville.
