Contenders in the 2012 Slots Cup Series will have one last bid for a berth in the $100,000 final when Flamboro Downs hosts a lone qualifying division in leg seven this Friday, August 17.
The top money-earners from the $15,000 divisions in the qualifying legs advance to the final at Hiawatha Horse Park on September 8. Previous legs were contested at The Raceway at Western Fair District, Hanover Raceway, Clinton Raceway, Grand River Raceway and Georgian Downs.

The fifth annual Slots Cup Series is hosted by ROMP (Racetracks of Ontario Marketing & Promotions) and attracted an all-time record of 58 nominees — Ontario-sired three- and four-year-old pacers that were non-winners of $50,000 lifetime as of Jan. 15/2012.
