Dresden Raceway will have a lot going on Sunday (July 8), as Dr. Joe Johnston will be honoured for everything he has given to local harness racing, and the track will be hosting Derby Hat Day and B.I.A. Day at the Races.
Johnston will be enshrined into the Dresden Raceway Hall of Fame and his famous trotter A Worthy Lad will also have a race named after him.
Dresden will also be giving out prizes for people who wear their fanciest, most outrageous and funniest hats.
Local Dresden businesses will be also handing out prizes each race.
The 10 races card of racing kicks off at 1:30 p.m.
