The Mohawk Racetrack race office would like to remind horsepeople of tomorrow evening’s (Tuesday, August 1) early post time of 6 p.m.
The early post time is due to the RCMP Musical Ride performance which will take place during Tuesday’s card of racing at Mohawk.
The first race will head to post at 6 p.m. It is expected that the opening five races will be completed by 7:30 p.m. There will then be a 90-minute break for warm ups and the RCMP Musical Ride performance.
Racing will resume with the sixth race at approximately 9 p.m.
Horsepeople are reminded to double check the entries and overnight sheet for paddock and lasix times.
The RCMP Musical Ride is a ticketed event, therefore horsepeople are advised to go through the paddock when attending Tuesday’s card of racing.
The RCMP Musical Ride will also have a performance on Wednesday afternoon at Mohawk. Due to the daytime performance, the paddock and track will only be available for training from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
