A new champion will earn the blanket of orchids by winning Saturday’s $400,000 final of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids at The Meadows, and players can take advantage of opportunities for big earnings as well.
The Adios Day card features three total-pool guarantees worth a combined $35,000. All are offered in association with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Initiative. The line-up includes:
-- $10,000 guarantee for the Early Pick 4, races 4-7.
-- $15,000 guarantee for the Adios Pick 4, races 9-12.
-- $10,000 guarantee for the Pick 5, races 12-16.
-- In addition, the Super Hi-5 will be offered on race 16.
Saturday’s program also includes a number of festivities for fans. The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) will stage a variety of family-friendly activities, and patrons may enjoy food trucks and a VIP Trackside Tent. First post is 12 noon, with the Adios set for approximately 4:00 p.m. as race 11.
