Since harness racing action was canceled at their tracks last Sunday, July 22, Clinton and Dresden Raceways are both hosting National Caretaker Appreciation Day events this Sunday (July 29).
Clinton Raceway is providing caretakers with a complimentary lunch (courtesy of Clinton and the Hayter Family). The track will also have prize draws for gifts including hotel stays at the Best Western Arden Park in Stratford and the Four Points Sheraton in London, a mega-gift basket from Ontario Racing, I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club prize package and 10 prints of “Unchecked” courtesy of Michelle Hogan. Winning caretakers will receive a complimentary winner's circle photo from their race.

Dresden Raceway will also be recognizing and have the track announcer introduce each caretaker in front of the Grandstand, provide complimentary refreshments, have prize draws for many gifts including a mega-gift basket from Ontario Racing, t-shirts, hats, Fan Club gear and more. There will also be a group photo of the caretakers.
