Tioga Downs has announced its Summer Claiming Series for pacers that have raced for a claiming price of $8,000 or less in at least one of their last three starts.
Preliminary legs will take place on Saturday, June 18 and Saturday, June 25, with a $14,000 final slated for Saturday, July 2. A one-time declaration fee of $50 due on the day of a horse's first race in the series will keep a horse eligible for the entire series, and normal entry procedure will serve as declaration for the series.

Race Schedule:
Sat., June 18 (Preliminary #1) – Claiming Price $9,000; Purse $7,500
Sat., June 25 (Preliminary #2) – Claiming Price $10,000; Purse $7,500
Sat., July 2 (Final) – Claiming Price $11,000; Purse $14,000
The final is restricted to the top nine (9) money earners in the two preliminaries. Horses claimed during the series retain their earnings with respect to their standing in the series.
