OHHA Takes Part In Toronto Horse Day

The 2nd Annual Toronto Horse Day will take place Saturday, June 12, at the Horse Palace, Exhibition Place, Toronto

, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF), the Riding Academy at the Horse Palace, Greenhawk Harness and Equestrian Supplies, Agribrands Purina, Equine Guelph/EquiMania and the Toronto Police Services Mounted Unit are hosting a FREE family horse camp.

The Ontario Harness Horse Association (OHHA) is taking part with Tanya Martin bringing her standardbred, Heirs Above, to perform two presentations during the day. The winner of 52 races and over $400,000 lifetime will be shown at 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

People of all ages will have the opportunity to learn, hands on, the basics of horsemanship through a fun and interactive program and have the opportunity to meet some of the Toronto Police Mounted Unit horses and officers, plus much, much more!

Participants will get to see horses in action! Different styles of riding and breed demonstrations including standardbreds will be taking place throughout the day.
