NASCAR Event Canceled

The NASCAR Simulator events slated for May 16, 17 and 18 at Hanover Raceway, Clinton Raceway and Grand River Raceway, respectively, have been canceled

.

The cancelation comes after advisement from the vendor (Motorsports By Kramer, of Michigan) that clearance to enter Canada could not be gained from the Canadian Border Patrol. The same event scheduled for May 15 at Western Fair Raceway was delayed, then canceled, for the same reason.

The four tracks working in tandem on this promotion apologize for the inconvenience. Racing is still offered at all four venues as scheduled.

The tracks remind patrons that prizing associated with this promotion will still be awarded during live racing, and each track is currently working on an alternate plan to determine the distribution of prizes.

Hanover Raceway has announced they will still honour the dinner vouchers given away on CKNX Radio. A draw will be held from those winners for two sets of two tickets to the summer concert on Saturday, August 15 with Charlie Major.
