The 2024 Standardbred Owners Association of New York / Yonkers Raceway John R. Brennan Scholarship application and rules are now available.
The application deadline is May 31, 2024.
The scholarship awards are $10,000 USD for first place, $5,000 USD for second place and $3,000 USD for third place.
The scholarship applicant or his/her immediate family member must be a 2024 Standardbred Owners Association of New York (SOANY) member in good standing or the applicant can be an immediate family member of a backstretch employee (caretaker). Immediate family member means spouse or child.
