Several longshots in Thursday's Pick-6 at the Meadowlands, including a 64-1 shocker in the opening leg, have created a record $186,905 carryover
heading into Friday's card.
Thursday's Pick-6 attracted $184,038 in wagering, fueled by an eight-day carryover of $76,566. But a fourth race 64-1 upset by ENS Curious and driver John Campbell helped pave the way for the record carryover.
With only one winning favourite in the sequence, the best bettors could manage was five correct winners, which paid $1,362.20.
The Meadowlands Pick-6 is a $1 base wager and held on races four through nine. Friday's fourth race carries an approximate post time of 8:05 p.m.
