Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park and the Prince Edward Island Harness Racing Industry Association will offer Breakfast with the Babies, an opportunity to view the future stars of racing as they go in training sets to condition for the upcoming season. Breakfast with the Babies will be held on Saturday, April 20, starting at 9 a.m.
As part of this event, a special breakfast for the Standardbred industry will be held in the Top of the Park restaurant from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The price is $10.95 plus tax per person.
The Race Day broadcast team of Lee Drake, Peter MacPhee and Kurt Hughes will cover the action and provide background. The two-hour presentation will also feature some exciting announcements for the 2024 season.
Trainers are invited to call the race office to register their horses at 902-629-6636. The deadline is Tuesday, April 16 at 12 p.m.
Owners and their guests must book the Top of the Park restaurant at 902- 620-4264. Seating is limited.
The 2024 harness racing season begins at Charlottetown Driving Park on Saturday, May 4.
