It has been announced that the Meadowlands Racetrack and Winners Off-Track Wagering in Bayonne will be opening early this Saturday (Feb. 29) in order to simulcast a Thoroughbred card from King Abdulaziz Racecourse.
The two locations will be opening at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for the simulcast of the inaugural running of the Saudi Cup.
The world’s richest race features a purse of $20 million and is headlined by American star Maximum Security.
The Meadowlands and ‘Winners’ will take races five through eight from King Abdulaziz Racecourse. Race 5, the $500,000 Jockey Club Cup, has a post time of 10:30 a.m. Post time for the Saudi Cup will be at 12:40 p.m.
