Post Time with Mike and Mike, presented by BetAmerica, is excited to announce its line-up for Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Betty Holt, the executive director of the Harness Horse Breeders of New York, was named the 2017 Unsung Hero by the United States Harness Writers Association. The pair will talk with Holt about her career in harness racing and how she came about the job at the breeders association in New York. She monitors all the New York harness activities in the state and handles everything from the sire stakes to the promotion of the sport and ownership seminars.
Bruce Trogdan was named owner of the year by the United States Harness Writers Association. Trogdan co-owned Fear The Dragon, who had a lights-out 2017 campaign, and also bred Blazin Britches, who was a champion three-year-old filly in 2017. The show will talk to Trogdan about his breeding operation and what is next for some of his champion racehorses.
Gina Maybee from the Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners Association in Maryland will join the program to talk about the racing season coming up at Rosecroft Raceway this year. We will talk to Maybee about how she got into the sport and what we can look forward to in 2018 at the seasoned racing facility.
