The rescheduled date for the Gala des Champions has been set for Saturday, April 16 at Hippodrome 3R, said François Carignan, Director of Operations at the Quebec track, in an announcement on Wednesday.
The Gala des Champions honours the leading horsepeople and top horses from the 2021 harness racing season.
Carignan also announced the menu for this annual gala, including a mechoui with beef, pork, chicken, as well as a salmon, all embellished with four salads to choose from (caesar, creamy cabbage, spinach and pasta). Four kinds of cheese will also be available for guests. The meal will end with a "toxedo," which is a very popular dessert.

No one doubts that this unifying event will help kick off a whole new 2022 racing season at 3R.
