The most recent edition of the Harness Racing Alumni Show has been dubbed a 'Sports Eye Reunion,' featuring journalists and handicappers Jay Bergman, Mark Richman, Steve Katz and Bob Marks.
The Sports Eye was the harness racing equivalent to Thoroughbred racing's Morning Telegraph and Daily Racing Form. It was a pioneering tabloid featuring selections for many tracks in addition to chart commentaries compiled from races at Yonkers Raceway, Roosevelt Raceway and The Meadowlands.
The Sports Eye was a groundbreaking publication sold throughout New York City, New Jersey, Long Island and Westchester County (N.Y.) neighbourhoods.
