Flamboro Downs, Truro Raceway and Woodbine Racetrack have cancelled live race cards slated for Saturday, December 21.
Flamboro's cancellation was announced on Friday due to the impending inclement weather that is expected to continue and the potential of freezing rain forecast in the area. The cancellation will allow the track crew time to perform maintenance ahead of Sunday evening’s live program.
Truro announced the cancellation of its Saturday card due to poor track conditions early Saturday morning.
Woodbine Racetrack has cancelled its live card of racing for Saturday evening due to an impending ice storm in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Live racing will resume on Boxing Day (December 26) with a special 1 p.m. post time.
