Father Patrick Book Full, Closed

Diamond Creek Farm has announced that Father Patrick's book for 2020 is full and closed.

Father Patrick’s progeny had an incredibly successful year both on the track and at the yearling sales.

Father Patrick is the sire of the potential two- and three-year-old trotting colts of the year, Breeders Crown champion Amigo Volo, and the recently-retired millionaire Greenshoe.

Eighty-four per cent of Father Patrick’s two-year-olds are already starters, which is an impressive number for any stallion. Father Patrick is currently the leading sire of average earnings for two-year-olds and is second in three-year-old average earnings.

With Lexington and Harrisburg yearling averages both over $100,000, Father Patrick’s yearlings were highly sought after. Maverick, the full brother to Greenshoe, broke the glass ceiling and made history as the first million-dollar yearling (he sold for $1.1 million to Brad Grant and The Maverick Group).

With an impressive group of mares bred in 2019, and a strong lineup for 2020, the legend of Father Patrick continues to be written.
