Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by BetAmerica would like to remind racing fans that nominations for the Post Time Awards close on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at midnight.
The categories this year are the Foiled Again Iron Horse of the Year, Horsewoman of the Year, Ted Barcus Race Fan of the Year, Larry Rheinheimer Small Stable of the Year, Race Call of the Year and the Upset of the Year.
Currently, there is a specific need for nominations in the divisions of Horsewoman of the Year, Upset of the Year, and Iron Horse of the Year. Post Time with Mike and Mike would like to remind everyone that for a horse to be eligible for the Foiled Again Iron Horse of the Year, the horse must have made at least 175 starts during their racing careers and must be age 13 or 14.
For 2016, the Iron Horse of the Year will be named after Foiled Again who has earned over $7 million in his career. In his illustrious career, Foiled Again has 270 starts and 91 career victories. Post Time with Mike and Mike is proud to have Foiled Again's name attached to the Iron Horse of the Year.
Nominations for each division will be announced on the Thursday, Nov. 17 show and voting will begin on Thursday, Dec. 1.
