After a sequence that featured a 50-1 winner (Buen Camino in the second race) and a 30-1 chance (Willie Boots in the third), no one had a winning 50-Cent Pick-5 ticket at the Meadowlands Friday night.
Those who correctly selected four out of five walked away with $495.55, and those who are playing the Big M card tomorrow will no doubt be swimming in a deep Pick-5 pool, one that will start out with a carryover of $19,326.61.
The most recent Pick-5 carryover led to a total pool of $150,169 on Oct. 18, and with Saturday’s program featuring four Kindergarten Classic Finals – with purses totalling almost $900,000 – this pool could end up being even bigger.
Post time for Saturday’s first race, which kicks off the Pick-5, is 7:15 p.m.
