The field for Sunday's Prix d'Amerique at Hippodrome Paris-Vincennnes is now complete after entries closed for the world-renowned trotting event.

Bold Eagle appears to be the one to beat heading into Sunday's €1,000,000 2,700-metre test. The son of French legend Ready Cash -- a two-time winner of this race in 2011 and 2012 -- was a dominant winner in his last start: the 2,850-metre 2016 Prix de Belgique. With Franck Nivard at the controls, Bold Eagle knocked off a number of the horses he'll face this Sunday.

Nivard has won three of the last seven Prix d'Amerique contests, driving Ready Cash to his two wins and Meaulnes du Corta to victory in 2009.

A race typically won by older and more seasoned trotters, Bold Eagle comes into this race as a relative younger at age five and the only five-year-old in the event. A win on Sunday would be the first Prix d'Amerique win for a horse of that age since Offshore Dream won his first of back-to-back PdA finals in 2007.

Bold Eagle (Ready Cash - Reethi Rah Jet - Love You) is trained by Sebastian Guarato and owned by Ecurie Pierre Pilarski. Among the trotters he'll face on Sunday are 2015 Prix d'Amerique winner Up and Quick and 2015 International Trot runner-up Timoko. The full field is as follows:

1. Athos des Elfes – Joël Van Eeckhaute
2. Nephenta Lux – Alessandro Gocciadoro
3. Lionel – Örjan Kihlström
4. Viking de Val – Eric Lambertz
5. Moses Rob – Pierre Levesque
6. Soléa Rivellière – Sébastien Olivier
7. Bird Parker – Yoann Lebourgeois
8. Support Justice – Eric Raffin
9. Oasis Bi – Pierre Vercruysse
10. Bold Eagle – Franck Nivard
11. Un Mec d'Héripré – Roberto Andreghetti
