Fans at Canada's fastest half-miler were treated to a rock-solid card of racing on Wednesday thanks in part to a trio of Bud Light Stakes for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings that were sprinkled throughout the 12-race program.

The Mohegan Pan stole the show with a 1:50.4 score in his $42,078 split for trainer Bob McIntosh, driver Steve Condren and owner/breeder Bob Glazer, who races under the stable name of Peter Pan Stables Inc. of Pepper Pike, OH.

The son of No Pan Intended, who has seen plenty of half-mile action in recent weeks, took over command in the back half of the mile en route to the stunning victory. It was more than four lengths back to runner-up Giddy Up Lucky. Real Nice was third.

The Mohegan Pan improved his 2008 record to 5-2-2 from just 11 starts, and his seasonal bankroll swelled to $229,920. He has banked $419,377 to date.

Legal Litigator rallied to a narrow decision in a time of 1:53.2 in his $42,828 affair for trainer Paul Taylor and driver Jason Brewer.

The gelded son of Camluck pulled off an 8-1 upset for owner/breeder Bob Hamather of Exeter, ON, who watched the pacer knock off race favourite Lisfinny and third-place finisher Andy Roo.

It was the fourth win of the campaign and the fifth lifetime triumph for Legal Litigator, who is quickly closing in on $100,000 in lifetime earnings.

Legacy N Diamonds front-stepped his way to a 1:53.3 victory in the other division for trainer/driver Carl Jamieson, who co-owns the pacer with Ken Henwood of Mississauga, ON.

It was the first win of the season in 11 starts for the son of The Panderosa, who used a :28.2 final frame to hold race favourite Get Out Of Dodge at bay by a length. Anderlecht rounded out the top three in the $42,078 tilt.

The lion's share of the purse boosted Legacy N Diamonds' season bankroll to $82,300, and it brought his overall purse haul to $257,476.
