An auction has been planned by Exhibition Park and Fredericton Raceway for driver John Stewart, who was seriously injured in an accident at Fredericton on September 3.
Stewart, who was aboard 10-year-old Dexter Nukes gelding R G Indy, went down early in the Sept. 3 dash and was taken to hospital following the spill. He suffered hip and pelvic injuries and is sidelined indefinitely.
Exhibition Park and Fredericton will be holding an auction in support of the fallen Stewart on Saturday, October 13 at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at Rothesay Avenue Billiards on Rothesay Avenue in Saint John, NB. Rothesay Avenue Billiards have kindly donated the venue.
