The odds of horses finishing in the exact order in which they started are 40,320-1, but it occurred today, Wednesday, September 29, in the 15th race at Monticello Raceway
.
The number one horse, Armbro Bracken, crossed the finish line first and like falling dominos all the others behind him finished in the exact order in which they started.
“It happens occasionally, but it certainly is a rarity,” noted Shawn Wiles, the track’s assistant general manager.
