Star Razor recorded his second straight dominant win on Wednesday (Sept. 13) in the $20,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway in 1:56.1.
With Corey Callahan on board, the five-year-old Dejarmbro gelding vacated the pocket near the three-quarters and cleared pacesetter Manatlas with ease to win by six lengths over That Ole Bar Stool and Judge Bob.
It was his third win of the year and first of the season at the Open level for Star Razor, who is trained by Nick Callahan. The trotter made $118,287 last year as a four-year-old when he won 11 races. He is owned by Callahan, Yorwollohan Racing Team and Greg Godbout.
Ross Wolfenden and Art Stafford Jr. each won three races on the card. Montrell Teague, Corey Callahan and Pat Berry each had a double.
