J As Outlaw (George Brennan) made it five-for-five since the Lou Pena claim, stepping out of claimers Saturday night and winning Yonkers Raceway's $37,000 Winners Over

feature.

Assigned post position No. 7, J As Outlaw grabbed the lead from 17-10 favourite Wholly Louy (Dan Dube) passing the :27.1 opening quarter-mile.

"Louy" though about retaking right at the :55.4, intermission, but stayed put. Meanwhile, Dragon King (Cat Manzi) moved from fifth, steadily advancing toward the 1:24.2 three-quarters.

J As Outlaw owned a half-length lead into the lane, eventually holding off his stubborn foe by that same margin in 1:52.4. Keystone Rideau (Eric Goodell), Wholly Louy and Eagle Now (Yannick Gingras) grabbed the small change.

For J As Outlaw, an eight-year-old JK Outlaw gelding owned by Lightning Lane Stable, he returned $7.20 (second choice) for his 10th win in 30 seasonal starts. The exacta paid $35, with the triple returning $419.50.
