The third victory of her career was the biggest so far for Three For The Lady, a dominant winner the 12th Lucien Bombardier Pace for two-year-old fillies at Hippodrome de Quebec on Saturday

.

Driven by Yves Filion for trainer Justin Filion and owners Buckeye Investments of Cornwall, Ont., and Brian Paquet of Quebec City, the favoured Lis Mara filly was sent to the lead from the outset and never looked back, winning the $29,500 event by six lengths in an excellent time of 1:58.3. Her main rivals, Hudson Standardbreds' three-horse entry of Irenes Got It, Shanghai Sizzler and Olivias Way, finished second, third and fourth.

Named for one of Quebec racing's pioneers, the Bombardier Pace was revived this year after a two-year hiatus. But racing fans across the country didn't get to see it because of damage caused to the racetrack's television broadcast equipment two weeks ago by a storm associated with Hurricane Irene.

Hudson Standardbreds' Day Dream converted from the pocket to win the $27,550 Roger White Stake for two-year-old trotting fillies, a non-wagering event contested prior to the card, in 2:05 by over five lengths. Marcel Barrieau drove the Muscles Yankee miss to her second career triumph for trainer Mark Steacy.

Saturday's card also featured a track record performance by Winning Dream, who captured a $15,000 series final for Quebec-bred three-year-old pacers by 14 lengths in 1:54.2. The son of Shanghai Phil was driven by Sylvain Lacaille.

The $15,000 final for Quebec-bred three-year-old trotters went to Le Senateur A L, driven by Andre Lachance. The gelded son of Promising Catch beat CL Bianco in 2:03.1.
