Hoosier Park unveiled the field for the 2023 Dan Patch Stakes at a post position draw that aired prior to the card on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
The 30th edition of the $300,000 (est.) Dan Patch Stakes will take place this Friday, Aug. 11. Post time for Friday night's program is 6:15 p.m. The Dan Patch will be slated as Race 13 on Friday's card of harness racing with an approximate post time of 10:30 p.m.
This year's Dan Patch will feature a full field of 11 older pacers, with the track taking the top 10 earners as per the conditions of the race while also inviting an additional horse as per stakes conditions. That invitation was extended to Canadian-based hopeful Linedrive Hanover (pictured above).
