Fashion Frenzie pushed his career earnings over the $1 million mark on Monday (Aug. 7) after winning the $42,000 Free-For-All Handicap Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Louis-Philippe Roy and Fashion Frenzie drew post six in the field of seven talented trotters. Among a group of early leavers, Adare Castle (James MacDonald) secured the lead ahead of Perfetto (Dagfin Henriksen) as the field rounded the opening turn. Just after the opening panel clicked in :26.3, Fashion Frenzie settled into the opening in third. However, he did not stay settled for long, pulling first over and taking command of the field. No one was able to catch Fashion Frenzie as he handed out panels in :56.1 and 1:24.1 before crossing the wire 2-3/4 lengths in front in 1:51.4. Perfetto took second while Adare Castle rounded out the triactor.

Fashion Frenzie is a five-year-old gelded son of Archangel-Striking Fashion. Owned by Ecurie Francis Richard Inc., Mario Bourgea, Pierre Guillemette and Sylvain Richard, the Richard Moreau trainee moved his seasonal record to 2-2-0 in four starts with $61,500 earned. In his career, Fashion Frenzie now has 20 wins and two seconds in 31 starts to go along with $1,017,431 earned. He paid $3.30 to win as the bettors' choice.
