Jason Merriman won five races throughout Northfield’s Park’s 15-race program on Wednesday (August 5).
Merriman’s triumphs included Ttssizzlinsally ($7.00) in race one, Bold Decision ($17.40) in race four, Dunks Brother ($2.20) in race five, Tiffany Malone ($4.60) in race six and Stone Of Magic ($3.40) in race 15.
Merriman, 28, began driving in 2003 and has since garnered 1,764 career victories and is approaching $8 million in total purse earnings.
Merriamn is third in Northfield’s local driving ranks with 161 wins posted so far this year. Only Ronnie Wrenn Jr. (361) and Aaron Merriman (312) have more victories this year over the Flying Turns than Jason Merriman. Ryan Stahl (123) and Kurt Sugg (106) complete the top-five local drivers.
