The three-year-old daughter of Control The Moment-Western Jewel sat in third behind Handcuffed (Piwniuk) and My Little Chloe (Thomas Michael Miller) through splits of :28 and :58 for the first half-mile. Gimmie A Corona went to the lead midway through the contest and established a time of 1:30.1 at the three-quarter-mile marker and then pulled away from her rivals for the four-length decision.

My Little Chloe held for second with Handcuffed finishing the triactor.

Rockin The Irons paid $5.20 to win as the public's second selection.

Darryl Mason and his charge B Special did not complete the mile in the ninth race race due to an accident. Trot Insider learned that the crossbar of Mason's bike snapped, causing the accident. According to Mason's daughter, Paula, Darryl has a laceration on his leg from where the horse behind stepped on him, and he got run over by the following horse’s bike on his back and shoulder. He'll be headed for x-rays on the shoulder on Sunday.

B Special was not injured and she's doing fine.
