Tioga Downs will play host to two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings on Sunday, Aug. 20.

Thunder Hunter Joe, with Tyler Buter, is the 5-2 morning line choice from the inside post in the first of two $57,000 divisions. The gelding by Huntsville is trained by Nicholas Devita.  He has four wins in seven starts this season, including NYSS wins at Monticello Raceway and Vernon Downs.

Metal Man, with Matt Kakaley, is the 3-1 second choice in the first division but will have to overcome the outside post seven to extend his three-race win streak. Travis Alexander trains the gelding by Huntsville.  Metal Man has six wins this season from a dozen starts, including a NYSS win at Batavia Downs.

The Chris Ryder-trained Goldin Greatness, with Jason Bartlett, is the 2-1 morning line favourite in the $57,000 second division and will leave from post four.  The gelding by Huntsville has four wins this season out of nine starts, including NYSS wins at Monticello and Yonkers Raceway.

Huntinthelastdolar (pictured above), with Wally Hennessey, appears to be the biggest threat to Goldin Greatness in the second division and will leave just to his outside in post five. Gregg McNair trains the gelding by Huntsville who has made five sophomore starts and has three NYSS wins at Vernon Downs, Saratoga Raceway and Yonkers.

The 13-race card starts at 1 p.m.
