Inspired Art extended his win streak to nine as he overpowered his Preferred rivals once again on Saturday at St. John's Racing and Entertainment Centre.
Driven by Shane Forward for trainer Scott Forward, Inspired Art paced away from his rivals to win this week's $535 Preferred Handicap by 15-1/2 lengths in 2:01.3, with his stablemates Go With It and Dustylane Wildbill rounding out the top three finishers in the short field of five.
The 10-year-old Artiscape gelding's win streak began on Sept. 1, 2014 and he has continued his dominance through the 2015 meet, winning each of his five races this year by no less than nine and three-quarter lengths.
The pacer is owned by Elizabeth Courtney of Maddox Cove, Newfoundland.
Meet-leaders Scott and Shane Forward won half of the afternoon's six races.
