FOX Sports To Cover Dan Patch Stakes

FOX Sports will provide comprehensive coverage of the 30th edition of the prestigious Dan Patch Stakes, set to take place at Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday, Aug. 11.

The Dan Patch Stakes, known for its storied history and tradition, brings together the top older pacers in the country to compete for glory on Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s famed seven-eighths mile oval.

First post will be at 6:15 p.m., and viewers can tune in to FOX Sports to catch every moment of the thrilling races, interviews with key figures and expert analysis of the equine talents on display from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

With FOX Sports' dedicated team of seasoned broadcasters and commentators, viewers will have an immersive experience, getting up close and personal with all the action of the Dan Patch Stakes both on and off the track.

The Dan Patch Stakes has long served as Indiana’s richest harness race and is reputed as one of North America’s premier races for older male pacers. Along with a star-studded field, Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s Dan Patch festival weekend will feature guaranteed wagers, handicapping contests, carnival games, food trucks and more. In addition to the family-friendly atmosphere, the first 300 fans in the door will receive a commemorative Dan Patch t-shirt.

The 2023 installment of the Dan Patch Stakes has been slated as the 13th race on the 15-race program with an estimated post time of 10:44 p.m. EDT and will be supported by an all-star undercard of racing action.
