Flite Craft Upsets Meadows Final

Dismissed at 19-1, two-race maiden Flite Craft soared first over and pulled off the shocker in Saturday’s (July 16) $13,900 championship of a Pop Up Series for freshman colt and gelding pacers at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Flite Craft was fourth when Jeremy Indof sent him after the leader, Essie, The son of A Rocknroll Dance-Kitty Kitty Hawk reached the front for the first time in his career and scored in 1:55.2, a length better than Born To Ramble. Essie saved show.

Norm Parker trains Flite Craft for Tenpin Stable, Albert Parker, Ryan Parker and Tom Klosky, Jr.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday (July 20) when the program features a $4,491.73 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m. (EDT).
