Newly minted track record holder Roll Em will have some work to do in the 55th edition of the Governor's Plate, presented by Summerside Chrysler Dodge, after drawing post seven during the official post position draw on Tuesday evening (July 11) at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

Trained and driven by Marc Campbell for owners Brent Campbell, Ryan MacLeod, Brady Doyle and the Savage Stable, Roll Em toured Red Shores Summerside in 1:51.1, shaving three-fifths of a second off the overall track record while winning his elimination. The official post position draw was held during the Tuesday evening race card at Red Shores Summerside for the 55th edition of the $35,000 Governor's Plate final set for Saturday evening (July 15) at the Prince County track.

Other elimination winner Matticulous GB will leave from post four for the duo of driver Ken Murphy and trainer Colin Johnson. Pylon control for the Invitational event goes to the George Rennison-trained American Risk.
