.

Medoland Big Cam, a son of Million Dollar Cam, led all the way for trainer-driver Mike Medors to win by 1-1/2 lengths.

It’s the fastest mile this year by a two-year-old on a 5/8-mile track.

In other races for two-year-olds at Scioto, Peeeeyouuuuuuuu paced an impressive final quarter in :29 seconds to win in 2:01 for trainer-driver Billy Walters. The son of Yankee Cruiser is a brother to Beee Youuuuuu, who just missed the Scioto Downs track record last summer when he paced in 1:50.1.

A trio of freshmen trotting youngsters hit the wire together in a baby race with So Precious K (Mass Crown K) getting the nod in 2:04.4. Russell Swartz drove for trainer Jim Arledge, Jr. He came from behind to beat Call The Warden and Shes A Jailbird.

Fastest qualifier of the morning went to Rescue Plan (Western Terror) in 1:55.2 while the sophomore trotting filly Striking Lauren was an easy winner in 2:01.3. Danny Collins trains the filly while Jim Arledge is the trainer of Rescue Plan. Chip Noble drove both winners.
