The post position draw for Saturday's $1.5 million Pepsi North America Cup at Mohawk Racetrack took place this afternoon at the Campbellville, Ont. oval
.
Toronto Maple Leafs president and general manager Brian Burke was on-hand for the festivities, serving as honourary drawmaster for this year’s event.

The connections of 2008 Breeders Crown winner Well Said selected their charge's post last out of the elim winners, and selected Post 5. The Western Hanover colt recorded a quarter-length victory in 1:50 during his Cup elim. Well Said, who is trained by Steve Elliott and driven by Ron Pierce, has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favourite.
Although the Joey Shea-trained Real Artist colt didn't win his Cup elim, Keep It Real was still installed as the 3-1 second morning line choice and will start from Post 6. The Burlington Stakes winning bay, driven by Steve Condren, was sharp after starting from the outer end of the gate in his elim, finishing just a quarter-length back to Well Said in what was a 1:50 mile.
The connections of Western Ideal gelding Dial Or Nodial selected their post third out of the elim winners and opted for Post 3. The gelding is conditioned by Jim Campbell and driven by Brian Sears. Dial Or Nodial posted a one-length victory in 1:50.2 during his Cup elim. The gelding has been installed as the 4-1 third choice in the morning line.
The connections of Western Hanover colt If I Can Dream chose their colt's post first out of all the elim winners and chose Post 4. The Art Rooney Memorial winner is trained by Tracy Brainard and driven by George Brennan. After doing much of the roadwork, If I Can Dream drew away from the field in his Cup elim and posted a two and a half-length victory in 1:51.1. The colt has been named the 5-1 fourth morning line choice.
The connections of Hoosier Cup winner Mr Wiggles picked their charge's post second out of all the elim winners and selected Post 2. The Badlands Hanover colt represents the Teague Stable and will be driven by Corey Callahan. After having recorded a wire-to-wire victory in 1:51.3 during his Cup elim, Mr Wiggles wasn't shown much respect on the morning line for Saturday's final, as he was assessed at double digit odds of 15-1.
