In March, Standardbred Canada’s Board of Directors retained Mandrake Management Consultants to search for the association’s President & CEO. The search was national in scope, screening more than 30 individuals with horse racing, breeding and gaming experience. A Selection Committee made up from the Board of Directors met with a recommended short list of six individuals who in turn went through multiple interviews, assessments, background and reference checks prior to meeting with and being appointed by Standardbred Canada’s Board of Directors.
