Tierney: Waiting On A Woman "Biggest Shocker Of My Life”

Published: June 10, 2011 12:12 pm EDT

The Mitchell Tierney-trained Waiting On A Woman etched his name into the record books last year at two with a 2:00.4 win time. When asked about the son of Northern Bailey, Tierney said, “His success is the biggest shocker of my life,” and that “he just keeps getting better and better.”

Tierney's comments have come via an article by Nick Oakes in The Guardian.

Tierney, a 23-year-old New Haven resident, explains in the article that Waiting On A Woman is currently in training and has already been a mile in 2:09 in preparation for the upcoming stakes season.
