George Leager’s Slick Tony notched his 48th career win Monday at Harrington Raceway with a 1:52.1 win for driver Corey Callahan in the featured $20,000 Open Pace.

The six-year-old No Spin Zone stallion set all the fractions in his narrow win by a head over pocket sitting JJ Flynn and a hard charging Goldberg.

It was the seventh victory of the year for Slick Tony, who has banked $815,621 in his career. Slick Tony, a former horse of the meet at Harrington, has continued a successful career long after being a standout at two and three in the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund program for owner/trainer/breeder Leager. He paid $5.80 to win.

Pat Berry had a driving triple. Art Stafford, Jr., Corey Callahan and Allan Davis each had a driving double.
